Acts of Blood Review – Stunning Visuals & Gritty Gameplay

Acts of Blood Demo Review

The new indie game that brings to mind the style of Sleeping Dogs and Sifu

Acts of Blood GAME REVIEW 2

After trying the demo released today on Steam, this indie game feels like a fresh blend of Sleeping Dogs and Sifu, capturing their fluid, hard-hitting combat style. The visuals bring Batman: Arkham Knight to mind, with dark, gritty environments that pull you in. If you’re into intense, cinematic combat and a visually immersive experience, this game is definitely worth keeping an eye on!

Acts of Blood Demo Gameplay Screenshots

Acts of blood gameplay 4k starting

Acts of Blood centers primarily on melee combat, offering an intense, close-quarters fighting experience that feels inspired by Sleeping Dogs and Sifu. While firearms are available, they’re only usable for a short time before running out of ammo, keeping the focus on hand-to-hand combat. The finish moves are impactful and satisfying, although they can feel a bit repetitive after a while.

The story is still somewhat vague, with the demo providing limited insight, but the setup shows promise. Voice acting, while not outstanding, gets the job done. It’s uncertain if the developers will add more content, but a skill tree with character progression would be a fantastic addition, giving players more depth and customization as they progress
